So, June 30th, 2010, Versailles performed in the 02 Academy Islington, London. :D

Going to it was the best thing I've ever done.

<3 <3 <3

Highlights of the night:

The band members coming on the stage one by one. The screams were unbelievable! Yuki came on first and I almost died thinking "oh my god, they're actually here in person!" I was also really surprised at how tall Yuki seemed. Then on came Teru, Hizaki and finally Kamijo. They then went straight into 'God Palace: Method of Inheritance,' which lasted for about 10 minutes.

People joining in with the lyrics. Kamijo kept pointing the microphone to the audience when he seemed to realise we knew all the words. xD It was an incredible atmosphere.

Hizaki and Teru playing their guitar duets/duels back to back.

Kamijo reaching out and holding the hands of the people in the front row and also reaching out to grab roses from them, using them as a flowery-microphone for a bit, and throwing them back out into the crowds. :3

Kamijo speaking English. He was very good!   "Do you know why I like London? Because you're all beautiful. You're all beautiful in your heart." (At least, that's what I heard! xD) "This is a special night, so let's enjoy it!"   "Boys, come here, *points to one side of the stage*, Girls, come here! *points to the other*"  "We are Versailles!"   "Do you want more? *after coming out for an encore*"

Kamijo leaning over Hizaki and Teru and 'biting' their necks - loaaads of screams followed this. We all love fanservice. :'3

The venue itself was great. Apparently there were about 1000 people there, although I don't know for sure, but the place was completely packed. I had a disabled area to go and sit in, which was on the balcony right above the stage! I was so thrilled with the seat - it was an amazing view! I also managed to stand up for my favourite songs and joined in with the clapping, waving my rose from side to side and head banging. (I got quite into it at one point! ;3) I also remained standing for the encore, which was my favourite bit of the whole night.

There were a lot of people up on the balcony with me, who looked ready to throw themselves down onto the stage at any point! xD One person fainted in the very front row, and medical people had to come and grab them out. They got stuck about half way over the barrier and they couldn't move him/her at all - but the crowd helped as they was dragged off to the side lines. He/she was okay at the end of the concert. ^^

I managed to catch the eyes of all the members of the band! <3

My seat was right above Teru's head by only a few feet, and everytime he looked up I caught his eye and he smiled. :D Also, Kamijo was looking around the balcony area during one song and ended up looking at me on the end of the row (nobody was crowding me too much) and smiled whilst pointing at me. I practically melted. He was wearing gorgeous grey/yellow contacts, so his eyes were so captivating. ^w^

At the end, they all held hands and took a bow, then said "We are...?" To which everyone replied "Versailles!" and they jumped up into the air. It was a great finale. <3  Yuki was waving and bowing as the others left (I caught Teru's eye again :D) and waved up at me. I was so happy.

I queued up for about half an hour afterwards to get some merchandise - I got a gorgeous poster and a t-shirt. <3 Also, the band threw lots of things into the audience, guitar picks, water bottles, etc. Yuki threw his drumsticks (one got caught on the edge of the balcony and he had to get it back and re-throw it, which was funny!) into the crowd, and when I was queuing up for merch, the guy infront of me had caught one of them! It was so funny; as he turned around, he hit me on the arm with it. He apologised even though it wasn't that hard or anything, but I turned to my Dad and said: "I've just been hit on the arm by Yuki's drumstick." My Dad found it hilarious, I found it really really lucky. :3

It was an incredible performance, and the band seemed to enjoy it soooo much. Hizaki fell over at one point, he tripped over his guitar box on the floor (no idea what it's called! x3) and fell completely over onto his back. He carried on playing his guitar!! Kamijo rushed over along with the back-stage groupies to help him up, but they couldn't lift him because of the weight of his dress. Eventually they grabbed him by the bustle of the dress and hoisted him up onto his feet. Kamijo seemed to find it funny and couldn't stop poking him. He seemed to be okay though, and continued to dance/jump around for the rest of the concert, so obviously wasn't hurt badly. :3

One of the best things for me was that after the song Serenade, which is dedicated to Jasmine-you, the band stood there in silence. Nobody screamed like after the other songs, until someone yelled out "Jasmine!" to which the venue erupted into applause and cheers. It was amazing - so many people were crying. Jasmine won't be forgotten in a hurry, there's no doubt about that.

At one point in the concert, Kamijo reached out and was handed something by someone near the front of the crowd. It was a huge Union Jack flag, with 'Versailles Philharmonic Quintet, London 2010' printed across it. The band seemed thrilled with it; they hung it over the drumkit, and during the final song Kamijo wore it like a cape and spun it around. At the very end, Teru grabbed it and held it up for the crowd to see - upside down. It was such a funny moment, he looked at it for a second, realised what he'd done, and then turned it round the right way. he got loads of applause. :D

I'm still in awe of it. Versailles have always been my favourite band - not just in terms of Japanese music, but overall. They did not disappoint with this concert, and I can only hope they will one day come back. :D

Aaages ago, someone added me on MSN and asked if I could write them an ItaSasu story. It could be of any length, but had to be dark aswell as slightly cute and fluffy.

(Talk about tricky... >.>;)

I can't actually remember the name of the person who requested it, other than she lived in Serbia, and was a regular reviewer of my fics. So, this little drabble is for my name-less-reviewer.

X-posted to ff.net.

Warnings: Uchihacest, hints of lemons/limes, morbid thinking and mild horror.

Is this not enough? )

Sooo... I'VE BEEN INVITED TO HOST THE LAUNCH PARTY FOR THE TEA-ROOM! 8D

And, oh my GOD, it's such a gorgeous place! It's literally like stepping into some Parisian boutique, with all white-washed floorboards and vintage wallpapers and HUGE ornate armchairs. It's a classic-lolita's dream.

The Launch Party is next Thursday, so I've got a few days to get myself a nice blouse or something to wear. I'll be serving food from 7pm till about 9:30pm, and there's about 100 people anticipated to show up. Nyaaaaaaaaa, I feel so excited!

>w<;;

AND THE MOST EXCITING THIS IS THAT I'M GOING TO BE PAID!!

Following Cucco's meme on 'things I do to weird out people' - I've followed up with this list of weird things about myself. (Because I don't often succeed in weirding people out. xD)

1) Drinking orange juice in the morning helps me to wake up.
2) I like talking about Uchihacest when it's obvious that those around me hate it.
3) I buy 18+ doujinshi and then have to hide them from my little sister. Mwaha.
4) I like to eat really really really burnt toast.
5) I randomly speak Japanese to my pets, and then assure everyone listening that they actually understand me.

...There are probably way more to add to that list, but I'm going off to watch Labyrinth now, so... xD

I found the amazing site, Puricute, based on the Print-Club machines that are all over Japan. >w<

DECO-RA-RA-RA-RA ~

It's such a funky site; and you can even get them printed out like proper little stickers for a small price. :D

You can also add little GIFs and things, like glittery sparkles and cakes and nomnomnom. *--*

Fun! :D
